Data & Privacy

Specific to Lucid (lucid.leadfuel.cloud), the personal AI coaching and planning product. Where it conflicts with the general LeadFuel Privacy Policy or Terms, this addendum governs your use of Lucid.

1. Who runs Lucid and who to contact

Lucid is operated by Emerging Technology Group LLC ("we"), the same company behind LeadFuel; Lucid is our personal-side product. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact privacy@etg.ai. We are the data controller for the personal data Lucid processes about you.

2. What Lucid is, and is not

Lucid is an AI coach and planner. It is not a medical device, not therapy, not a licensed counselor, and not a crisis or emergency service. Lucid does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Always consult a qualified professional for those.

3. The sensitive data Lucid handles

To plan your real life, Lucid can ingest (only from sources you connect or content you submit) data including: health and biometrics, messages (iMessage/SMS/WhatsApp), calendar, contacts, location, email, and financial data. Some of this is "special-category" / "sensitive" personal data under GDPR and CCPA. By connecting a source or submitting such content, you give us your explicit consent to process it for coaching and planning for you. You can withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting the source and/or deleting your data (Section 7).

4. How sensitive data is segmented ("private tier")

Lucid classifies every item as it enters the system:

• Private tier: health, messages, financial data, and anything matching sensitive patterns. Private-tier data is kept local to infrastructure we control and is never sent to a third-party cloud AI model, and is not added to our shared semantic search store.
• Other tiers (semi/public): non-sensitive content used to power retrieval and coaching, which may be processed by the subprocessors in Section 6.

Private-tier content is encrypted at rest at the application layer, plus disk-level encryption.

5. Your digital twin & profiling

Lucid builds a profile and an optional "digital twin" of you, inferred traits, your writing voice, routines, interests. This is automated profiling used solely to coach you and to draft in your voice with you approving every action. We do not use it to make legal or similarly significant decisions about you, we do not sell it, and we do not use your content to train third-party AI models. You can view what the profile contains, see where each inference came from, and delete it (Section 7).

6. Subprocessors (who else touches your non-private data)

Private-tier data (health, messages, finance) is not sent to Anthropic or Voyage. These vendors do not train their models on your content under their commercial API terms. Processing may occur in the United States. For users outside the US, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers to our US-based processors.

7. Your rights and deletion

You can: see what Lucid knows (in-app knowledge/profile view with sources); export your data (view it all in-app, or request a full export at privacy@etg.ai); delete your data (DELETE /me/data purges your local capture log and the shared semantic store); withdraw consent by disconnecting any source. EU/UK/CA residents also have access, correction, portability, and objection rights: email privacy@etg.ai.

8. Retention

We keep your data while your account is open. After you close your account, we permanently delete your data within 90 days. You can also delete your data immediately at any time via Delete my data. Immediate deletion is permanent and not recoverable. Records we must retain by law (e.g. billing records) are kept separately for the required period.

9. Billing, cancellation & refunds

Lucid is $29/month, billed via Stripe through your Novah/LeadFuel account. Cancel anytime from your billing settings; access ends at the close of the paid period and does not auto-renew after cancellation. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law (e.g. the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal).

10. Age

Lucid is for users aged 18+.

11. Security & honest limitations

We use HTTPS, encryption at rest, encrypted access tokens, and per-user data isolation. We are not HIPAA/BAA-eligible and not SOC 2 certified yet. We will notify you of a breach as required by law.

12. Changes

We will notify the account email of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
